Summer Time

It is here, The Summer and boy is it going to be a hot one. Already the temperature is in the 90's with a heat index well breaking the 100's. So what I say to think about this summer is some great ways to chill out by starting with going to the beach or pool. If you don't have a pool then buy one because I'm sure you don't want your utility bill going up. I myself have access to both and will be taking advantage of them a whole lot. I have been away for awhile again, however in one of my previous post' I did say I was going to spend less time on the computer and more time in fellowship along with family time. I have stuck to my word but believe me it has been challenging.

With God we can accomplish anything and without Him, nothing. I have been gifted with being able to create some fun and cool websites that you can enjoy for free. So when it is just to hot outside this summer make sure to check these websites out and leave your feedback. A Beautiful Creation!

This is a clip of my 125 gallon saltwater reef tank that I took earlier today. It is amazing to me how colorful the ocean is and I give God all the credit for this beauty. We are so fortunate to be able to enjoy these things, never to take them for granted. My company and I are also in the process of putting together this new website called Walking Closer To God. I Had An Epiphany!

I was on vacation a little over a week ago. I found myself trying to stay away from the computer and just getting back to normal real life things. The Internet has made things very impractical and has deteriorated human contact. The computer along with the Internet was designed to work for us and make our lives easier but in fact it has done the opposite. I for one love technology and what the computer has done for us. However I found myself really stepping back and wondering why there is such a need to be online. It seems to me that some of us have become addicted and can't go a day without checking emails or all the social groups that we are a part of. There is a fear of "I'm missing out on something" when that really isn't the case.

Life hasn't stopped while I was away from the computer. I found myself observing the great things that are around me. I cant lose site of what is really important in life. For me it is God, family, friends, work and so for the past week I found myself enjoying those things more. It was very rewarding having that interaction with others and just doing normal things like devotions/prayer, playing board games, watching movies, going out to the mall.

So this week is a new start for me. I will only spend x amount of hours on the computer per day and more so the ones that involve actual work, not play. I listened to a wonderful sermon yesterday that showed me how important it is to be connected to God and do his work. We are only here for such a short time and everyday that goes by I want to know that I did everything I could for God. I thought that by reading a devotion and having prayer time I was doing enough, I was so wrong. God only asks for us to follow him but it is up to us to take that first step and never feel that we are doing enough because there is always room for more.

God has lots in store for me to do and he has that for you as well. If you ever feel doubt or have confusing thoughts, turn to God and pray your heart out. God wants to have a relationship with you but you have to contact Him, God is always near by in fact right in front of you!

Shopping Cart Madness! TGIF

So check this out!!! I went to Walmart today to get my usual groceries...I have no shame at admitting the fact that I shop at Walmart. We are in a time were we need to be saving money and that store can save you money. Now just to let you know how I feel when it comes to shopping. There are hidden elements that everyone should follow, very simple ones. When you first enter the store you are given a privilege, the shopping cart is handed over to you from the cart specialist, also know as (the door greeter). When you are given something with wheels and there are others around you with the same weapon....you need to follow the hidden rules.

Call me an extremist but I feel if everyone followed this, bad things wouldn't happen. You are probably asking yourself "what possibly bad could happen"? Oh boy, can I just give you a list of answers. So I am given the weapon and I start my journey through the store. I take my time doing the walk limit, no running like a crazy man. Putting my arm out when turning left or right, you know, to let the other people know what I am doing next. I never cut anyone off and I make sure to use the "Excuse Me Horn" when someone just leaves their "weapon" in the middle of the aisle.

So this is where things just get me scratching my head. Luckily I am a nice person and I usually will just blow things off with a good laugh, hahaha. Let me paint the picture for you. I am on the canned vegetable aisle and my "weapon" is properly parked right in front of me just like it should be. It is right up against the shelves so people can easily pass if need be. So I am in the emergency lane or as I like to call it "Tim's Zone" minding my own business just looking at the shelf trying to find green beans.

BAM...CRASH...BANG... at this point you are probably guessing that someone ran into my cart "weapon" with theirs. No, that would be to simple, instead to make things more interesting. I was reaching up to the very top shelf because of course that is where my green beans are hanging out, just having a good old beany time. So my arm is stretched to its furthest just about to grab the can and without notice I have a "weapon" (shopping cart) rammed into my side that then makes me collide into my nicely legally parked shopping cart. As the old lady looks at me and says "whoops".

Are you kidding me, no sorry, no excuse me horn, like what is that about. I'm telling you that I made sure to put my cart in 5Th gear and get out of that store before she did because I wasn't about to be driving on the same streets as her "whoops". Just in case you are wondering, my sides are fine, no x-rays were needed from the incident and I did not bother calling customer service to report the damage to my weapon.

Fun~N~Sun; Not!

It has been awhile since my last post and there is a good reason for that, I was sick. So sick that I would get very nauseous just looking at the computer, not the monitor but just the computer sitting in the distance under the desk *yuck*. I laid on the bed and just wondered how long would it last. I tried to watch movies as a distraction but unfortunately for me that didn't really work. Let me back up just a bit so you can get where I am coming from with all of this.

About 2 weeks ago my dad and I were suppose to work on someones house. Well it was postponed because the owner's wife became very ill. I don't know what possessed my dad to still go over there and get those measurements that in my opinion he did not need. Well there you have it, he became very ill as well and thought it would be a good idea to give it to my wife and I. So we spent a week with weird sleeping hours along with major stomach issues that I wouldn't wish on my biggest enemy, well maybe on my biggest enemy.

So here it is on Monday and I am getting caught up on everything including my blogging. I have to make sure to keep all 5 of my followers happy,haha. So I thought that I was going to be so behind on the "Whats Happening" but as it turns out I didn't miss much and now I need to get back into the swing of things.

Sorry for not being as entertaining as I usually am but I promise that my next blog will be jammed with at least one joke. I am considering getting myself a Inspiron Mini 9 over a blackberry bold. The reason why I think this is the right decision is because I am very careless with phones and are always dropping them (not good). The Bold is like $650.00 if you want to get it without having to sign an annoying contract along with a monthly bill of no less than $90.00. I can get the Inspiron Mini 9 for $300.00 and then just buy an air card that is only $50.00 per month. Seems like the right way to do.

So I hope my 5 readers have had a great past couple of weeks and I look forward to your comments as always. Please give your opinion on the phone or computer. Which do you think is the right choice?

Been Busy

So I have decided to make this blog a more fun and entertaining one and I built a new blog for those of you who are more business minded. You can check out my other blog by clicking here. It is really new, like I just built the site today. So bear with me on its design and all the function tabs. Most of the tabs work so you can give them a try and see whats behind them.

I am really looking for some true business minded group of people that will be willing to participate in the new blog. So if you or someone you know may be interested just let me know. This site is suppose to be a place of education and sharing mistakes and accomplishments. As I like to say "The Do's and Don'ts".

It has been awhile since my last post and that is because I am part of a team called MSG (my shopping genie). We are distributors of a FREE Software that helps people find the best deals on the Internet. I have plenty of links all over this blog for you to click on to find out more info. The reason for me even saying anything about it is because we are on tour for the next month and this is a great big deal. It is consuming every minute of my day, so that is why it has been awhile since my last post.

New Projects

My wife and I are the creator of a certain website and it has seem to take on a mind of its own. So much has happened in just a few days that my wife and I just stopped and looked at eachother with this face of shock/happy just like this guy in the photo!

I am sorry if I left a disturbing image imprinted on your brain but I wanted you to really understand what I was feeling,lol. My wife and I are both entrepreneurs and have the same views on life and how it works. We are dedicated to helping others for nothing in return. That is where the idea came for our website. Well, we also have a bunch of other things going on which I wont shamelessly plug here,yet....haha.

My guidance/knowledge sharing is going to be this. Never put all your eggs in one basket. I am going to be very blunt, it is not smart. When you are taking on the life style of owning your own company you need to realize that even though the business has tons of potential now, it may not 5 years from now. For most of us when we decide to make that commitment of running our own company we are so focused on it that we claim to not have time for anything else (TIME MANAGEMENT) a previous post talks about that. It is very important to have multiple businesses going on because when one starts to slow down the other's will hopefully start to pick up. Sure you can get lucky and have that great idea that no one else thought of.....Good Luck.

Look at your business structure as a pyramid. Put a business at each point and the one that is doing the best will be at the top. When that one slows down and one of the other one's picks up rotate the pyramid to put that business at the top.

New Fish for a Client!

One of my businesses is servicing fish tanks and you can learn more about that at www.UnderwaterTreasurez.com Well today I went to service a Dr's. Office. They have a 150 gallon saltwater tank that is built into a wall that you can see it from both sides. They wanted a couple of new fish so I brought them three new ones and took some footage so you can enjoy. My favorite is the Blue Jaw Trigger and he is towards the middle laying his butt on the sand bed. He is very alive this is just what he does. I hope you enjoy the video clip.

Real Traffic Strategy

So I was driving on the highway yesterday which is a normal thing for me to be doing. Not because I have a 9 - 5 job but because my several businesses require it and I live in Florida. Yes, that was a typical Floridian joke so for those of you out of Florida, be warned. Well I love metaphors and I am going to use one to teach you time management with how people drive on the highway. Should be fun to attempt this one.

Well as I was going down the road I started to pay attention to this one car and the driver made it real easy to pick him out of the rest of the cars passing me by. For fun we are going to call him Tony Stewart and for those of you who don't know who that is just google his name. Normal traffic on the highway for that time of day and it is a 4 lane highway just to give you a mental picture. I am in the fast lane doing about 10 miles per hour faster than the speed limit and here comes Tony right up my butt. I didn't really care because there wasn't anywhere I could go and I found it a bit amusing because he was obviously in a rush and he wasn't going anywhere either.

I took the more patient approach when dealing with this type of traffic and he took the more fast, get out of my way approach. He started to swerve into the other lanes to try and get around the traffic or at least maneuver himself in a better position. Once he was in the other lane you can guess what happen; that lane started to slow down which put him further back than if he would have stayed behind me. Without exaggerating this went on for a good 30 minutes, meanwhile I just stayed in the same lane waiting and looking ahead to see what the traffic was doing.

It payed off for me to stay relaxed and approach the traffic with a cool collective attitude. While Tony's approach was very aggressive and very unsuccessful. So this made me want to share with you on how to approach a business idea or a general task.

Look ahead and see where it is you want to be. Set a time frame for when you want the task to be complete. Put together a schedule that will lead to that task or business getting accomplished. Predict where certain obstacles may appear and have a plan b for how to handle them. As long as you have a goal in place and you don't take on a million things at once you will achieve that goal at the time you wanted to. Don't be like Tony and just rush into things and have no time management of how to get there. Every time he moved one car forward he would end up two cars behind.
Be Focused
Be Consistent
Be Patient

Put your Website or Blog on the Map in under 5 minutes!

So you just created a website or a blog and not quite sure how to let people know about it. Well I have used a couple of real easy ways that are FREE, yep, once again I have found a free way to do marketing. The idea behind this is you are going to not sit around and wait to be found but instead, you are going to let them know you are there and ready to show the world. So you need to visit all those links below and submit your website or blog along with a brief description of your site.

Now pingler is geared towards bloggers so if that is what you have than after you post something on your blog go ahead and let pingler know about it. The same process as the rest but this time you can give the subject title of what you used for your blog post. Do this every time you make a new post on your blog which in my opinion should be everyday.

I want to give some tips on Google maps. It is extremely important for you to get your business on there. One of the many perks is you can upload 5 videos of your services or products. All you do is go to youtube and upload you video there. Make sure the video clip is very entertaining and is around 30 seconds to a minute long. It also allows you to put your website and webpages (blog) along with a very detail list of your business. Stick to using valid tags; focus on something specific.

The Beginning To Social Networking (5 of 5)

WoooHooo - we have made it to the final stage and now everything is going to connect and make sense. I mentioned facebook a couple of stages back and now I am going to tell you about myspace and why it is absolutely important for you to be on there.

There are some skeptics out there that feel myspace has lost its spunk or just isn't that great of a place to be "WRONG". Myspace is actually cleaning up their website and getting rid of the dirt. So go to myspace.com and get yourself signed up. Real simple steps to follow and you will be on your way. Every site that I have told you to join allows you to upload a picture. I want you to use the same picture for every account so people can relate all the sites together.

Why is myspace so important to be on?

After joining their site you will have a friend by the name of Tom and he is the creator of the site. Well a good way to start meeting people is by visiting groups and forums that is in the website. These groups are categorized so it makes things real easy for you to find one that fits your hobbies or business. Join the groups and start talking to the other members. You will quickly start to grow your friendship and now you have contacts. You can send them private messages on new offers you may have on your website or a new service you are offering.

Meanwhile you have been growing your network with all these other websites. Here comes how you connect everyone of those; twitter has applications, which are in html and that allows you to put your twitter app. on all of these sites. So lets say you updated your blog and you want to let all of your networks know about it. Simply go to your twitter account and type in: Hey friend's I just posted a new blog, check it out at http://yourblognamehere.blogspot.com Now your twitter app. has been updated on all of the other websites that you put it on and those people can see what you are doing. Of course this works with everything, update your website,myspace or facebook and you can tell your entire network about it.

The Beginning to Social Newtorking (3&4 of 5)

This has been lots of fun so far and it is only going to get better. So lets get started on stage 3 & 2 and see where that takes us. Remember we are counting down so our next stage will be the final one.

You should have a blog or website and I highly recommend you have both. There are lots of things you want to talk about but your website might not be the right place for it. So you create a blog to give more detail about you and your history. Now if you only have a blog and not a website, again I say you need to get one. Blogs are nice but most people will not take you serious if you are promoting a product or service with just a blog. It is so inexpensive to create a website now a days that it is just silly in my opinion to not have one. A great place for you to create a domain is godaddy and you can get there by visiting this link:

For blogs I hope you choose Blogger.com and not wordpress. My reason is very simple, google rankings are important and as it turns out if you create a blog through google which is blogger.com you will find yourself on the front page of google. I think that is a pretty good reason; don't you?

I want you to be very wise with your name choices of these sites. Make it simple to spell and fun to remember. If you use multiple words for your sites then make sure to capitalize the first letter of each word. This way they stand out and are easier for people to understand. example: www.GenieUnlimitedBiz.com notice how easy it is to read that website address.

I bet you can't wait to see the final stage to this lesson. It will connect all the pieces and you will be on your way to building your social network.

The Beginning to Social Newtorking (2 of 5)

This one is a very quick and easy. Everyone has heard of facebook.com and if you haven't then I am shocked. So lets get you started with facebook. An interesting fact, they have exceeded myspace as for their total members. I am not trying to bash myspace in fact the complete opposite, myspace has over 130 million users and that means that facebook has even more than that. So if you get where I am going with this; huge member based websites that you should be a part of. So for now I want you to get signed up to facebook and start growing your friendships in there.

It is real easy to sign up. All you do is visit www.facebook.com and follow the steps to signing up. It will come to an option for you to let facebook access one of your email accounts. I suggest you do this feature because it will go through your contacts and find them on facebook for you or allow you to invite them. I have now given you stage 4 of 5 and remember that I am going backwards so it will all come together at the very end.

The Beginning to Social Newtorking (1 of 5)

I am going to get you started with social networking and you are going to achieve this by following my 5 stages. These are going to be worth your time and it will cost you nothing. Everyone likes free stuff and that is what I am about to show you.
I'm going to actually give you the 5Th stage and work my way backwards. So you will see how it is all going to connect to one another at the very end. Keep an open mind to what I am showing you. This is really for beginner's who are still trying to familiarize themselves with the internet. So lets get started.

There is this new website that has actually been around for awhile but is gaining popularity fast. It is called Twitter and you can check it out by visiting www.twitter.com it only takes a couple of minutes to sign up and get started. It has a real simple concept; in 140 characters or less you let people know what you are doing. It is a great tool for you to start growing a fan base or in their case follower's. Don't get carried away and start following thousands of people. Take your time and find people who may be like minded or a good potential prospect to your type of business.

You can also look over to the right side of this blog and see that I am on twitter. Go ahead and click on the "follow me" and you will be redirected to twitter.com after sign up you will be following me and I will return the favor.

Doing What You Love

Luckily I have been involved with some great businesses and people. Even though some of those businesses failed I was still able to walk away with a great learning experience. I am always looking for ways to improve how I am doing things with my business,friends,loved ones and so on. I want to be the best that I can be and I strive to make that happen.

I started my first business over 10 years ago. It was a lawn service company. I took the simple approach and just went door to door with homes that their yard looked like it needed a good cut. I didn't get into the business because I loved cutting grass or being outside. I did it for one reason and that was "money". I needed some extra cash and I figured out an easy way to do it.

Well through the years I have moved on from cutting lawns and went into a more white collar field of work. I have a hobby; saltwater aquariums and I love every minute of it. So I decided to make a career out of servicing fish tanks for Dr. offices, schools, etc. and like any business it takes time to establish a clientele. With this business I felt I needed to create it with a partner. I am not going to say anything negative about a partnership but I will go into detail on another post in the future.

I thought this business was it for me. It was best of both worlds, I loved aquariums and I wanted to own my own company. As the years went on I started to realize that how I envisioned it and how it actually turned out was not at all what I wanted. It is funny how we have dreams of things and how they are supposed to be.

Long story short, really be careful with your decision making and what your future goals are. It is important to do something you love but make sure you know what it is that you love doing. I still have the aquarium business but through its creation I fell in love with something much greater. I found a real passion for internet marketing and teaching others how to internet market. There is a reward for what I do and at the end of the day I am able to reach out to people that will ultimately be a long term friendship.

Some Interesting Ideas!

I have been slowly mentioning the creation of a new website that is going to be designed for an Elite Business Entrepreneur. My ideas along with my teams ideas have all been thrown on the table and it is getting exciting. What we want to do is provide a service that is not on the Internet or at least it isn't heard of.

This is going to be an environment that will be for serious minded people who are focused and want one thing, to be successful and work hard at doing so. I am putting together tons of ways to educate you, the member, how to market yourself. Some of the things that will be included is (podcast,tutorials,websites, etc...). In addition to that you will be joined with other members of the group and they are going to teach you their knowledge and experience of what works and doesn't work. The hope is forming a true givers gain concept. I will keep you informed of the progress over the next couple of weeks, yes I said it, a couple of weeks.

You can expect this thing to be live for you to take full advantage by the end of this month.

A Business Entrepreneur Mind? Part 2

If you did not read part 1 just scroll down and read it first. I wanted to talk about a very recent experience with a potential client. So I am going to start by asking you this question.

How much are you worth?

NEVER EVER SELL YOURSELF SHORT OF WHAT YOU ARE WORTH!!!!

I want to make this one very clear to you. Your knowledge and ability comes with a price to someone else. Do not make the mistake that you are charging too much or you are over priced. Most people have a set value for something already in their head so when they do ask for your services it can go any direction. I will tell you that you will have more confidence in yourself if you stand up and never sell yourself short.

The biggest problems come from helping friends or family members. This one is a bit tricky because you want to do the right thing but you still need to make money for your time. I will advise you to never give them a better deal; it will bite you in the butt. For some reason they think you owe them or they can repay you with a favor....not true at all. Ask any legit business owner and they will tell you that most of their problems came from doing someone a favor.

I don't know about you, but it is in my blood to be the nice guy and help others at no charge. This has caused me many complications, mainly with my business partner (wife). I am not saying she is a bad person, it is just the opposite, she is absolutely right and I should listen to her. Business is business and it will only survive like one when it is treated like one. Never forget that, it is very important for you to realize that running a successful business means following rules and procedures. I am an Internet marketer. I have spent years of my time on the Internet learning all the new tricks and websites to use and not use. I know how much I am worth and so does the person who will pay me for my time/service. Their success will prove that what I shared with them was good.

By now it is no surprise that I like quizzes but this time I am going to give you a task. I want you to sit down with a pen and paper. Write down your years of experience in your field of work. Be very specific of what you did in those years (college,tech school,books read,hands on, etc...). Now that you have a list of what you did you can put a better value of what you are worth. I will tell you that the best experience I have had is DOING. I am able to determine what works and what doesn't work. Give it a try and let me know what you came up with.

New website/forum

I am currently putting together a new website along with a new forum site. They will be connected to eachother and the service will be at it's best. I am looking for elite business owner's or business minded individuals.

This site is going to offer things that are not on the Internet. I know that is a big statement but the truth is, the Internet has not been around that long and there are new things popping up everyday. I'm sure you haven't seen all 15 billion web pages that is out there.

Are you suppose to own a Work at Home Business?

In today's economy with people being laid off from their jobs they start to ask themselves "should I start up my own business?" With it being a recession, there is a large number of home based businesses that are being created. Well I have a simple way for you to truly figure out if this is something for you. I honestly believe anyone can own their own business and work from home but it is always nice to have that reassurance. I for one am an entrepreneur and would be happy to teach you how to market your home based business. I have a quiz that is only ten questions and should take no longer than five minutes to complete. Take your results and learn from them as we sometimes tend to get angry and say that isn't true or basically point the finger away instead of inward.

You should never be satisfied with what you know. As long as we have technology and growth we are always figuring new ways to do things. The Internet is such a powerful tool that we take for granted. I came across this really cool site the other day that is a lot like a major search engine but it is a bit better because there are real living breathing humans finding the answers to your questions. Now that is useful especially if your like me; I want the answer but I don't feel like searching the 15 billion web pages that are on the Internet. Let me just get right into this one and it will be short, I promise. Clearly you are a blogger and that is how you came across my blog. If you are not a blogger and own a business, shame on you. Blogging is a great method of promoting your business and generating traffic to your site. People like to know who they are dealing with and you accomplish that by just being yourself. Writing a blog gives you a community of trusting client's/customers and possible friend's. Who doesn't want friend's? I know I like meeting new people and learning about them and their culture. It fascinates me how I am able to communicate with people across the world. Well here is something I found for you. Social Networking

Hello Friend's,

I would like to consider myself a social person. I have always been really good at meeting new people and starting up conversations. My downside has been following up and keeping in touch. For a business owner this is not a good thing. Follow ups are one of the many keys to running a successful business. So over the years I have worked on doing just that and with some help from my wonderful wife/betterhalf/V.P./bestfriend, well you get the point. I have truly become a better person. Most people in this world love human contact, it's what makes this world go round. The Internet has turned the whole contact thing into a far greater reach than man probably could have ever predicted.

Take business networking groups, you have all heard of them, they generate many leads and provide a way for you to brand your business. Most of them require a monthly or yearly subscription and have rules and guidelines to follow. This is an excellent way for you to promote your business locally. If you are some sort of service company or a brick and mortar this would be the best way to get your name out in the public eye. I would highly recommend you spend your marketing budget towards as many networking groups you can join but remember "Givers Gain", this is so true. If you have a large marketing budget, like in the millions, than go ahead and advertise everywhere, but if you are restricted than stick to the business networking groups. One of the largest groups to join and most professional is Business Network International (BNI) click here to visit there site and find one in your area.

Well here comes the Internet and it changes the whole format of networking. It doesn't change the concept or damage the idea of promoting your business. In fact just the opposite happens, you have been given a tool that supports your business and brings you in contact with individuals you would have never known existed. THAT IS STRONG..... For most of you, you sit back and think of ways to better promote yourself but never really do anything. Mainly because you don't give yourself the credit you deserve and realize that you can take this Internet by the horns and ride it for every penny. Sure you will hit speed bumps along the way but isn't that how we learn?

I just recently did a seminar on basic Internet socialization. When it was over and I started to be asked all the questions, I found myself thinking, wow there is a real need for Internet education. For the most of you reading this, you already have the necessary knowledge to move forward in the world of the Internet. Or do you? A Business Entrepreneur Mind?

A person who organizes and manages any enterprise, esp. a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.

This is going to be an on going lesson. So we will call this one; finding out who I am!

We are all designed with specific features, behaviors, strengths and even weaknesses that make us unique from one another. There are two types of people, leader's and follower's (independent and dependent). A leader has the ability to move people not in a physical since but in an emotional one that will lead to physical eventually. They have great speaking powers and with that they will encourage others to do great things. A leader will lift your spirit and make you feel good about yourself. They will guide you and strengthen you to become a leader in your own way. A leader wants nothing but the best for you and will help you. They see things in you that you were to blinded to see yourself. There are few people out there with this gift and for that we see more followers.

Followers seem to have this attitude that I am only so good, a sense of doubt (weakness) of how strong they really are. It seems that followers need that reinforcement of, "I am doing the right thing" but what happens is they tend to fall off that wagon. Here comes the fun part; unless they are a leader themselves and just haven't realized it yet. Everyone has some type of leadership built in them. They just need to open up and believe it. You as a follower have to be willing to be molded like pottery and listen before speaking. God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason! Want to know if you are a leader or a follower?

First Time, Greetings!

I would like to thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit learning a little bit about me. I am a motivator and encourager. Life is to short to focus on the things that we can not control. Typically those things are negative and result in you feeling down. I stay focused on the big picture and apply my own teachings to myself. I wish everyone much success in there endeavor's and with confidence, belief and focus you will have nothing but success.

I am a follower of Gods word and all of his teachings. This is a subject (religion) that people tend to avoid especially when times are good. When things start to go down hill we always go to God for answers to our "Why is this happening to me?" question. The harsh reality to that is, we are usually the reason for the problem.

We cannot control the things that happen to us, but we can control how we are going to handle those things. God never promised it was going to be easy and the truth is, if it was easy, than what would be the point to get up in the morning and do it. Life is full of treasures and wonderful things, it is up to us to find those things and make sure to never let go or take them for granted.
